Here's how to add a contact to a vendor in Bionic for Agencies.
Vendor contacts are the individuals you work with at the companies (vendors) that own the programs you buy. In Bionic, you can add vendor contacts when you send an RFP, when you create an order, or by requesting one to be added in general.
NOTE: You can only add contacts to vendors that already exist in Bionic. If you need a new vendor created, see Add a Vendor.
In this article, we’ll cover:
Add a Vendor Contact for an RFP
When building or sending an RFP, you can add a vendor contact directly in the workflow.
See Send Recipients an RFP for detailed steps.
Add a Vendor Contact for an IO
When creating or managing an insertion order (IO), you can also add a vendor contact.
NOTE: When adding a contact for an IO, the email address must match a valid/verified domain for that vendor in Bionic. If the contact’s email uses a domain that is not recognized for the vendor, you’ll need to contact Bionic Support to have the contact added.
See Add an IO Recipient for details steps.
Request to add a Contact
Sometimes you need a vendor contact added outside of an RFP or IO. This might happen if:
-
The vendor doesn’t exist in Bionic yet.
-
You receive a platform error message telling you to contact support.
-
You want to add a contact in general for future use.
In these cases, you’ll need to contact Bionic Support and provide the following details:
-
Vendor Name
-
Contact Name
-
Contact Email (must be a valid work email, no Gmail/Yahoo/etc.)
Bionic Support will review and confirm once the contact has been added.
