# Manage a Performance Integration

## Here's how to manage a performance integration in Bionic for Agencies.

Once a performance integration has been added to Bionic, you can manage the integration, review its connection, manage placement mappings, and review the performance data received through the integration in the Administration section of your account.

### Review Integration Status

The **Home** tab of the performance integratoin provides an overview of the current status of your performance integration.

1. Click on your **company name on the left side** of the black strip at the top of your screen.
2. Click the **Administration** link.
3. Click on the **Integrations** tab.
4. Find the appropriate integration and click the **integration name** to open it.
5. The **Home** tab will open by default.
6. Review the integration information displayed, including: 
     - **Integration System** – Platform associated with the integration.
     - **Status** – Indicates if the integration is Active or Inactive.
     - **Method** – Indicates if performance data is received through an API or File integration.
     - **Connection** – Displays the current connection status.
     - **Last File Loaded** – Displays the most recent performance file received.
     - **Status of Last File** – Displays the processing status of the most recently received file.

### Manage Your Connection

The **Connection** tab allows you to manage how Bionic connects to or receives performance data from the platform. 

**For API-based integrations:**

1. Click **Connection**.
2. Review the current **Integration Connection** status and if the integration is not connected, press **Connect**.
3. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection.

**Note:** The connection process may vary by platform. Follow the prompts provided when connecting the integration.

**For file-based integrations:**

1. Click **Connection**.
2. Locate the **Email Address** provided for the integration.
3. Use this email address when configuring automated delivery of performance data from the platform.

### Update Integration Settings

The **Settings** tab allows you to update the configuration of your performance integration.

1. Click **Settings**.
2. Update the **Integration Name**, if necessary.
3. Select **Active** to allow the integration to run or **Inactive** to pause the integration.
4. If available, update the **Time to Run**.

### Manage Placements

The **Placements** tab provides a consolidated view of the Bionic placements and source platform records associated with the integration.

1. Click **Placements**.
2. Use the **Line Locations** filter to view: 
     - **In Bionic Only** – Placements that exist in Bionic but are not linked to a source record.
     - **Linked** – Bionic placements that are linked to a corresponding source record.
     - **In Source Only** – Records that exist in the source platform but are not linked to a Bionic placement.
3. Use the **Import States** filter to view **Imported** or **Not Imported** placements.
4. Use the available columns, search, and filters to find and review placements associated with the integration.

#### Map an Existing Bionic Placement

For placements that are **In Bionic Only**, you can manually link the placement by entering its corresponding Source ID.

1. Find the appropriate **Bionic placement** andenter the corresponding **Source ID**.
2. Once linked, the placement will display as **Linked**.

#### Sync Placements

For supported API integrations, you can sync the latest available records from the source platform.

1. Press **Sync Lines**.
2. Review the records retrieved from the source platform.
3. Use the **Line Locations** filter to view records that are **In Source Only**.

#### Import Placements

For supported integrations, records that exist in the source platform can also be imported into Bionic.

1. Find the records that are **In Source Only** and select the records you want to import.
2. Press **Import Lines**.
3. Follow the prompts to complete the import.

**NOTE:** Sync and Import options may vary by integration.

### Review Performance Files

The **Performance Files** tab provides a history of performance data received and processed through the integration.

1. Click **Performance Files**.
2. Review information such as **File Name, Loaded By, Status, Transport, Loaded Date, Metric Data From, Metric Data To, Metrics Loaded,** and **Error**.

### Review the Placement Log

The **Placement Log** provides a history of placement Sync and Import activity for the integration.

1. Click **Placement Log**.
2. Review the recorded activity for the integration.
3. Use the available search and filters to locate specific activity as needed.
