For Programs, metadata may represent a standardized name or ID utilized in another platform, such as a financial system or reporting tool. To enable metadata fields on the Program level, you first must [create a custom field](https://help.bionic-ads.com/knowledge/manage-custom-fields?hsLang=en#adding-custom-fields). Once you have created custom field(s) with Program as the Object Type, you’ll then be able to set your program metadata. Here, we’ll cover how to: 1. In the Programs Tab of a Vendor, click on the **checkbox(es)** next to the Program Name. 2. Press **Edit Metadata**. 3. Configure your **Metadata**. 4.
