Why isn't my flowchart displaying correctly?

Here's How to Fix Flowchart Data Issues in Bionic for Agencies.

In Bionic for Agencies, your flowchart data is driven from your media plan. If you are experiencing a discrepancy in data when comparing your flowchart to its media plan, there are a few things to double check to troubleshoot this issue. In this article, we'll cover how to troubleshoot flowchart issues.

Table of Contents:

  1. Check Your Dayparting
  2. Check Your Filters
  3. Reset Chart Settings

Check Your Dayparting

When looking at a media plan in the flowchart view, it is critical that all the dayparting be accurate. If it is not, it can cause mismatched data in your flowchart.

For Example, if you have a date of Monday, June 1 listed as your daypart, but in actuality Monday is June 2nd, the data will not flow through the flowchart correctly.

Here's how to double check your dayparting is correct:

  1. Go to your Media Plan.
  2. Check that all dates and dayparting are accurate and make any necessary adjustments.
  3. After any adjustments are made, go back to the flowchart and check if the data is now flowing as expected.

Check Your Filters

At times, your flowchart may be displaying the incorrect data you want to see. One thing to check are the filters for the customize view of your flowchart to ensure everything is set correctly.

For Example, if you are looking for Net Media costs be sure that your Display Values are set up for Net Media Costs vs. Gross Media Cost or Total Cost. Another thing to look for is to ensure your date range is set to your expectations.

Here's how to check your filters:

  1. In your flowchart, select your Saved View.
  2. Click on Customized View.
  3. Check each section to ensure you've properly configured your view. Specifically, if totals don't appear to match up, In Display Values, check you have the correct values displaying for this view and that the date range filters are properly set.
  4. For any changes, click Apply.
  5. After any adjustments are made, go back to the flowchart and check if the data is now flowing as expected.
