Filter Media Plan

Here's How to Filter a Media Plan in Bionic for Agencies.

When working with media plans containing multiple placements, managing that data can be difficult.  Filtering provides a way to for you to look at subsets of data to focus on what you need.

Filtering can also be combined with batch updating data to create a powerful and efficient method for managing your data.

When you apply a filter to a campaign, Bionic will remember that filter for you the next time you are in that campaign.  Filters are specific to you and the campaign they are applied to.

In this article, we'll cover:

  1. Create a Filter
  2. Edit a Filter
  3. Remove a filter

Create a Filter

Here's how to create a filter in a media plan:

  1. Press the Filter button.
  2. You can use one of the Pre-populated Filters or the Add Filter link. (Using the Pre-populated Filters will display the matching results in the media plan.)
  3. If you Click the Add Filter link you will be prompted to identify the specific fields you wish to filter on:

    2. or Checkmark specific fields.
  4. Press Next.
  5. Each field selected will be displayed along with the Operator and Value used to define the filter. The Operator will control the rule the value needs to follow.  Depending on the type of field you are working with, the Operator will contain different values. Enter one or more Values in the Value box for each Field.

    1. When a field is populated with known scope of data, such as Vendor, you will be presented with a list of values to choose from.
    2. Date values will allow you to select from a calendar or manually enter a date.
    3. Rate and Quantity fields will allow you to manually enter a number.
  6. Click Apply.
