Clone Placements

Here's How to Clone Media Plan Placements in Bionic for Agencies.

Cloning a placement is a great way to quickly build out your media plans. This can be useful when you have multiple placements that are similar, such as Search, Social or Programmatic. Once you build out 1 placement, you can use the clone to easily create the others and simply change the attributes that are different.

In this article, we'll cover:

Clone a Single Placement

Here's how to clone a single placement:

1. In a Media plan, hover over the Line Item you wish to clone and click on the Action Icon.
2. Select Clone Placement.

Clone Multiple Placements

In addition to cloning a single placement, you also have the option to bulk clone multiple placements to a current campaign or clone to a different campaign. Here's how:

1. Check off the boxes next to the Line Items you wish to clone.
2. Click the Clone button.
3. Choose which Campaign the lines will be copied to.
4. Determine how many copies of these you would like by entering the number in Number of Copies field. 
5. Choose the color coding of these lines (optional).
6. Press Clone.

Clone Placements from Anther Campaign

In some cases you may want to clone placements from another campaign. Here's how:

1. Click on the Add Placements button in your media plan.
2. Press the Clone Tab.
3. Choose the campaign you wish to copy from using the Clone Placements From dropdown.  
4. Select the placements you wish to copy by checking off the boxes next to each line item.
5. Press Add to Plan.
6. Enter how many copies you want of each selected line.
7. Select new flight dates for the placements, if applicable.
8. Choose where in the media plan you want these new placements.
9. Press Add to Plan.
