Configure Site Served Report

Here's How to Get Data from Site Served (3rd party) Performance Reports into Bionic for Agencies.

When working with any digital advertising where results data may be provided by a 3rd party, you can use the Site Served integration to load the performance data.

Refer to Learn About Integrating Your Performance Data for the complete list of steps to complete your integration set up.

For all integrations, you will first need to Define Your Integration.

In this help article, we'll cover the steps on how to configure your Site Served integration:

  1. Define Placements to Include in Integration

  2. Export Template

  3. Convert Results to Template

  4. Import Results

Define Placements to Include in Integration

After you have added the integration to your campaign, you will need to define which placements should use this integration. This will tell the template to include those placements automatically when you download it.

  1. In the media plan, go to the integration column that represents the Site Served integration.
  2. Hover over the corresponding field for the placement you want to include.
  3. Press the Include button.
  4. Repeat for each placement you want to include.

TIP: Use the Filtering capability to limit the placements that display to make it easier to find them.

Export Template

Once you have defined which placements should be used with this integration, you can download a pre-populated template.

  1. Click on the Settings tab of the campaign.
  2. Go to the Integrations section.
  3. Next to the Site Served integration, press the Download button.
  4. An Excel template will download for you to then update results.

Convert Results to Template

How you convert the results to this template is up to you. You may enter or paste from results from a file you received. The upload process will use the Headers to identify what the data is. As long as the Headers are present and the data is valid to the field, Bionic will load the data.

Only fill in results for days you want to report on. For example, if you only have monthly results, filter the spreadsheet to pull the last day of each month and insert the results against those days to represent the month.

Template Header Definition
Date - Bionic The results date. The template will provide a row for each date the placement is scheduled to run.
Bionic Placement ID The placement ID the results will load to.
Bionic Placement Name The name of the placement the results will load to. This helps you to easily identify between placements when there are more than 1.
Source ID Source ID for the placement as defined by the ad platform. This would only be necessary if you receiving data that needs to be mapped.
Source Group ID Source Group ID for the placement as defined by the ad platform. This would only be necessary if you receiving data that needs to be mapped.
