      Set Advertiser Default Production Costs

      Here's how to set advertiser default production costs in Bionic for Agencies.

      Production Costs represent costs that go beyond what is charged in the standard rate. They could be any additional fees you want to separate out of the "Net Cost", but are still part of the Total Media Cost you need to account for.

      If you have Production Costs that consistently occur for a particular Advertiser, you can set them up in the Advertiser settings to ensure they carry into each campaign that you create for that advertiser. You can always override these defaults in individual campaigns, or even individual placements as needed.

      In this article, we'll learn how to:

      Add Advertiser Default Production Costs

      Here's how to add advertiser default production costs:

      1. Click on the Settings Tab of an Advertiser.
      2. Go to the Production Costs section.
      3. Click Select Production Costs.
      4. Choose Your Production Costs.
      5. Press Done.

      NOTE: The production costs list was created by your Organization's Administrator. If you are an Administrator, learn more here to manage cost columns.

      NOTE: You can override these defaults at the campaign and individual line item level.

      Set Default Values

      Upon selecting the default Production Costs you want, you can also modify the default Rate and Currency to be used for this Advertiser (if different from the Cost default). This is optional as you can also leave it blank. Here's how:

      1. Under the Rate Column, use the Dropdown to select your currency.
      2. Click within the Rate Column to update the default Rate.

      NOTE: These default values can be changed for individual campaigns and at the line items level.

      Reorder Production Costs

      Here's how change the order in which production costs appear in your media plan:

      1. Hover over the Production Cost.
      2. Click and Drag the Production Cost to change the order.

      Remove Production Costs

      Here's how to remove default production costs:

      CAUTION: If that Cost is in use by any placements, deleting a production cost will delete those costs.

      1. Hover over the Production Cost.
      2. Click on Remove.
